Giant Football Academy is a community based sports foundation established on 24th July 2022 with the aim of improving the social and economic welfare of young people aged 5years to 20 years of age.
Football is not only a sports activity but it also a field of study where children get to express their talents as footballers maintain their body fitness thus keep health and it is also a talent that has made many stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi wealthy. We look at such as an opportunity for them to earn and improve their well-being in the future.
Our Objectives
Finding and uplifting talent
We find children who can play football and help them realize their talents by training them. We train them every day during school holidays and on weekends during school days.
Health
Health is the mental and physical well-being of a person physical foot all is an exercise that enhances the wellness of the whole body thus help the young people grow fit and healthy avoiding diseases like high blood pressure. In case of injuries children are medically attended too by the doctor or are taken to hospital in case of injury is sever. Mental health and well-being of lads is highly boosted by our own Annet Weis who is medical specialist in German.
Education
Education is every child's right unfortunately some children are orphans and some their parents are unable to afford school fees and scholastic materials as a foundation we reach out to such children by paying school fees for some and finding bursaries for some in schools who are interested in pupils who can play football.
Counselling and Guidance
The foundation also provides counseling and guidance to the young footballers first on the basics and on the discipline of football as their career mostly fair play and anti-dropping.
We go an extra mile of not only taking them to school but keeping them to school this keeps them away from bad influences of drug abuse, early pregnancy and crimes like robbery and fighting.
Goals of the academy
- To help the young footballers become qualified and disciplined professional footballers.
- To build a character in them that can associate with first class standards of footballers while we connect them to different clubs in the future.
- To educate them through taking them to schools and keeping them there. Education is paramount.
